Forum On Understanding Terrorism And Counter-Terrorism In Malaysia

SEARCCT and Akademi Tentera Darat co-organised a forum entitled “Understanding Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism in Malaysia”. The program was participated by 71 Malaysian Army officials with the rank of Captain. Speakers for the forum were from the Royal Malaysia Police, International Islamic University Malaysia and our very own organisation, SEARCCT. This forum is the first series of the ATD G2 programme for 2020.

The objectives of this forum were: –

1. To enhance the understanding of issues and challenges related to the threats of terrorism in Malaysia; and
2. To improve on the knowledge of participants in matters related to counter-terrorism efforts in Malaysia.

This programme has been successful in these last few years. This programme has been conducted annually since 2017.
