The Research and Publications Division of the Southeast Asia Regional Centre for Counter-Terrorism (SEARCCT) successfully hosted the Support for Research Excellence (SURE) Workshop from 20–22 September 2024 in Putrajaya. As part of SEARCCT’s ongoing capacity-building initiatives, the workshop aimed to enhance research capabilities in the field of Counter-Terrorism (CT) and Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE).
SURE served as a dynamic platform for researchers and practitioners in SEARCCT to exchange insights, refine methodologies, and strengthen SEARCCT’s research impact. Officers engaged in interactive discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions, focusing on improving research effectiveness and developing innovative strategies to counter evolving terrorism and violent extremism threats.
