Aim's of Course :
The aim of this course is to provide participants with the kowledge and skills required to deal with computer crime as well as information technology security issues, especially in the area of protecting government infrastructure and the threats posed by cyber terrorism.
 
Learning Outcomes :
At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to:
  • Address issues related to the identification, prevention, investigation and prosecution of cyber related acts of terrorism and criminal incidents
  • Understand the laws surrounding cyber terrorism and cyber crime
  • conduct law enforcement operations relating to computer and information technology security
  • identify critical national infrastructure and the threats posed by cyber terrorism
  • understand the need to monitor and protect government network components
  • examine vulnarabilities that could cause catastrophic disruptions
