Aim's of Course :
The aim of this course is to expose participants with the current threat of WMD i.e. Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Weapons.
 
Learning Outcomes :
    To expose participants on the basic components of WMD
    To assess the threat of WMD To study the issue of WMD proliferation
    To establish/refine the SOP during a WMD incident i.e. Incident management and consequence management
    To delineate the spectrum of responses during a WMD incident
    To establish a network of experts and senior officials (both national & international) that would cooperate and coordinate during a WMD incident.
Course Contents :
    Introduction and definition of WMD
    CBRN agents and materials To study the proliferation of WMD among terrorist organizations
    Assessing WMD threat; Responses to a WMD attacks
    Post-WMD incidence management; Creating public awareness with regards to WMD
    Malaysian or foreign case studies of incidence management in crisis situations
