Aim's of Course :
  The aim of this course is to provide participants with the knowledge and understanding to analyse security situations particularly physical security and employ measures to protect the ports for the purpose of preventing terrorist acts. 
 
Learning Outcomes :
  At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to:· Study the current practices in port security in Malaysia· Identify areas of weaknesses or potential targets of terrorists· Provide recommendations and suggestions on how to counter such weaknesses.

  · Terrorism in perspective· Physical surveillance· Identification and evaluation of critical assets and infrastructures· Identification of the threats to these assets and infrastructures· Identification of security resources· Proactive processes and procedures to interdict terrorist organisations· Training exercises
